In this first session, we will discuss the topic of revelation. We begin with the prayer that Christ Himself revealed to us: the Our Father.

1. We'll use some Famous personal revelations of the Saints as examples.
2. And finally, we'll speak about what Divine Revelation is (i.e. Scripture & Tradition).

In this second session, we will dive deeper into the topic of Divine Revelation, specifically Sacred Scripture. Because the Our Father and the first half of the Hail Mary are scriptural, we will begin the class with the Our Father and Hail Mary. 

          Discussion Topic                      

1. We will discuss the origins, the canonically approved books, and the authors of Sacred Scripture.
2. We will mention the Saints highly devoted to Sacred Scripture, like St. Jerome, St. Benedict, and St. Ignatius of Loyola.
3. And we will close with an introduction to the devout practice of Lectio Divina, using Matthew 14:22-33.

2. On a practical level, we will introduce what Sacramentals are and how they fit into this topic of intercession.

We will dive more deeply into the topic of the Eucharist by discussing the theology, symbolism, sacred books, sacred vessels, vestments, and the words of the Mass. We will discuss the topic as a sort of church tour.
