Objectives
A. Demonstrate a welcoming community at Saint Luke by serving as greeters to 9:00 AM,
11:00 AM and 6:00PM mass attendees on the first Sunday of each month.
B. Model a diverse community by doing things together in a public fashion such as lunches
after mass and holiday parties.
C. Engage in recruitment activities to increase the number of active MCC members.
D. Bring international flavor to the liturgy in dress, music, and food when appropriate.
E. Increase non-white parishioner participation in all parish ministries by personal invitation
from ministry members.
A. MCC members to educate ourselves by attending and participating in social justice
education programs and including educational topics in monthly meetings.
B. Learn about the histories of different races especially when that history is not main stream.
C. Sponsor race related educational programs/activities for St Luke and other parishes.
A. Participate in projects and charitable works for the parish and deanery such as the evacuee
suppers.
B. Maintain contact with the Archdiocese representatives for social justice to learn and share
ideas.
C. Collaborate with the other parishes in the Deanery to provide educational opportunities
related to social justice issues.
D. Participate in activities that advocate social justice with Archdiocese support.
