Summary: On this first FIRE Night, the whole objective is to get everyone excited about this upcoming year. Think of it as a fire-themed pep rally!
TIMELINE OF EVENTS
4:45 PM | Fr. David is on the field, ready to play whatever games we have, as we wait for the night to begin. 5:00 PM | Gather us in! (Music playing, FIRE Squad in full pep-rally mode) 5:15 PM | Opening Prayer, followed by Pump-Up Crew introduction 5:30 PM | What does God have in store for us through FIRE? (Fr. Jared) - FIRE "motivational speech"
- What does a typical FIRE Night look like?
- What will the year look like for each age group?
5:45 PM | Dinner (with reflective questions) - How would you describe your current fire (aka relationship) with God?
- What are two ways that you can become a blazing fire?
- What factors could make accomplishing this goal difficult?
6:30 PM | Sacramental Send-Off - We will call forward all those celebrating a sacrament this year. Their parents are invited to join them.
- We will send them outside for a special brief fire-lighting ceremony: to receive a special candle, which they will light from a fire outside.
6:40 PM | Ignight Ceremony - Those remaining will be instructed inside will then quietly make their way to the church.
- All will receive candles and pray for those who are preparing for a sacrament.
- Those preparing for a sacrament will enter the church with lit candles and light the candles of those already inside.
- We will end with a song and a prayer.
6:50 PM | S'mores around the campfire!

Summary: On this second FIRE Night, we begin our journey with the Lord from where He began with us: the Garden. And we will discover who we are, so to understood who we are called to be.

6:15 PM |Break out sessions, everyone will be directed to their specific locations. - Goal of this session: see "FORMATOR GUIDE" button above.
6:20 PM | Dinner (with reflective questions) - Answer the following question without using your name: “Who are you?”

PRAY-UP CREW
- We would like for each family/couple/individual to be greeted by a short note when they arrive each month, from a person who has been praying for them. How can we make this happen logistically?
- What specific roles and responsibilities will you have as a crew?
- How will you recruit others to join in prayer?
SET-UP and CLEAN-UP CREWS
- What day and time will you set up?
- How will you communicate with DREAM UP, PUMP UP, and FORM UP crews to know how to best set up?
- How can we find creative possibilities for meeting on campus, to accommodate the large number of people registered?
PUMP-UP CREW
Your job is to creatively introduce the topic of the night and help lead us in prayer, all of which should be between- Will there be an MC (person on microphone) for this night?
- Can you make a video, song, or skit to introduce the theme?
- How can you incorporate or speak to multiple age levels through your ideas?
FOOD-UP and SERVE-UP CREWS
- Will food be precooked, cooked, or catered?
- Will supplies be donated or bought?
- What types of food would work for multiple ages?
- Is there a gluten free option?
- How many people will need to help plate/serve?
- How will we do our best to keep the food safe to eat (regarding COVID)?
