The updated parish website is now up and running! Please take a moment or two and check it out, at
www.saintlukeslidell.org. I think you’ll find it much more visually appealing, and better able to serve your needs when you visit us online.
Certainly I want to profoundly thank Deacon Paul and the members of the Media ministry group for working so diligently over the last month to get this up and running. As always, your comments are welcome! There is a link for each of the staff members with our e-mail addresses, so you can contact us directly that way as well.
One issue to point out with the updated website, and that too will be published elsewhere in this bulletin, is that with the issue of photos and phone numbers for parishioners, if a parishioner does not want his or her image or information distributed, please let us know so that we can delete that information. We will be running that disclaimer through March, so hopefully any data that you may want deleted can be removed bythe beginning of April. Thanks for your attentiveness to that request.
I had mentioned a few articles ago about the possibility of a Lenten mission sponsored by Dumb Ox Ministries. Well, after looking at both their calendar and mine, there just isn’t good space and time during Lent to pull that off this year. So we won’t be able to do a mission during Lent, but are still trying to coordinate an event after Easter. We’ll have that either on the calendar on the website, or I’ll write about it here in my article.
May you all continue to have a spiritually prosperous Lenten Journey!
